This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for deals purchased through Nearby.co.nz.

1. Role of Nearby.co.nz

Nearby.co.nz is a promotional platform, not the seller of products or services listed on the website. All goods or services are provided directly by third-party merchants.

2. No Direct Refunds by Nearby.co.nz

We do not issue refunds directly unless explicitly stated. Any refund requests or complaints about a deal should be directed to the merchant providing the service.

3. Issues with a Deal

If you encounter a problem with a deal (e.g. product not delivered, service not available):

  • Please first contact the merchant directly to resolve the issue
  • If the issue remains unresolved, you may contact us to request assistance in reaching the merchant
  • We do not guarantee refunds but will try to support you in resolving disputes

4. Business Listing Fees

For merchants who have paid to list their deals on Nearby.co.nz:

  • Listing fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • If a payment error occurred, contact us within 7 days for review

5. Expired Coupons

Expired coupons are not eligible for refund or credit unless required by law or agreed by the merchant.

Please always check expiry dates before purchase.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases (e.g. a merchant closes down before delivering the deal), we may consider partial or full refund support. This is handled on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.

  • Your full name
  • Deal details (business name, purchase date, value)
